Sterling was manufactured by The Columbia Phonograph Co. and was
introduced in 1910 for $50.00 ($55.00 with the Columbia No. 2 Quartered-Oak
Horn). This version of the Columbia Graphophone BII Improved Sterling
comes with a triple-spring motor, a Concert Grand Reproducer, and
a Columbia No. 2 Quartered-Oak Horn. A detailed description and

1916 Columbia Grafonola 150
Sold: March 19, 2001
The 1916 Columbia Grafonola 150 was manufactured
by The Columbia Phonograph Co. from 1915 to 1918 and was originally
priced between $150.00 and $175.00. The Columbia Grafonola 150 was
available in a choice of mahogany, satin walnut or quartered oak.
Burl walnut was available for $25.00 additional after September
1916. Four drop-tray record cradles, labeled A through D were provided
to hold 60 records. This version of the Columbia Grafonola 150 comes
